Safe and Secure Online Ordering:
Ordering with us online is safe and secure. Our website is securely hosted and orders are processed via the LinkPoint secure payment gateway. Your name, address, and credit card information is encrypted and safe. Our other merchant (card processing) services are provided by First Data, among the largest and best merchant banks today. Our online shopping cart is provided by Volusion Inc. is very secure. You can view the encryption verification certificate by clicking on the blue security certificate icon that you see on the navigation bar on the left hand side of every page.
Also, not only is your information encrypted, we do not see your full credit card number, only the last four digits of your card will appear/be viewable by our staff, for example: xxxx xxxx xxxx 1234. Nobody, no employees, not even the company owner can see your full credit card number, only the last four digits.
How do I know when I am ordering on a secure server?
Many browsers such as AOL will display a gold lock (closed lock) in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. When a closed gold lock appears, it is secure. Another way to know is to look at the URL box at the top of the screen, the box that tells you exactly where you are.
IMPORTANT NOTE: regular pages such as information pages and catalog pages listing our products and company information are not secure, they don't need to be since they are only for viewing. However, once you have chosen items to purchase, placed the item into your online shopping cart, and go to Checkout, you are then transported to a SECURE server.
When you have been transferred to a secure server, our shopping cart checkout for example, the URL box will always begin with: https://
The URL address now begins with "https" - The "s" that you now see is the indicator that you are on a secure server.
"http" = not secure
"https" = secure
As you "checkout" and provide your name, address, credit card number, etc., you will be on a secure server until your order is complete. Your information is always secure.
