RETURN POLICY & INFO:
The following information will explain how we ensure high quality, and inform you of our return policy.
We pride ourselves in the high quality of the Essential Oils that we sell, and we do believe that our customers can tell the difference in quality and appreciate the varying quality of Essential Oils on the market. We take several steps to ensure you receive only the highest quality Essential Oils.
HOW:
We always sample the oils before we make our bulk purchases. When we receive the sample, we test it, and if we are not satisfied with it, we simply reject it and go to another source, and we sample that one. We’ve been operating for 8 years, so our sources have been refined and put to the test over the years, and so the sources we now use are almost always reliable. Rarely do we have to reject an oil from one of our suppliers, but we will do it when we are not 100% happy with the quality. By having several sources for purchasing it provides us options with our bulk purchasing.
Also, even though Essential Oils will last years when properly stored, we still make a point to rotate our inventory so a customer never buys an oil from us that has been sitting on the shelf for an extended period of time.
RETURNS:
We offer a satisfaction guarantee on all of our Essential Oils with a money back offer, but for obvious reasons we must limit this offer to the smallest size available for that particular oil. We’ll explain why below:
It is extremely rare that a customer returns an oil, and those few instances in the past have had special circumstances that attribute the return to issues not related to the quality. For example, we had a customer who had been using synthetic perfume oils, also called fragrant or scent oils, and he purchased some of our natural and pure Essential Oils and was disappointed they did not smell as pretty as his synthetic fake creations he had been using. We explained that there are no therapeutic properties in synthetic fakes, but he was more interested in only the aroma. Most pure Essential Oils have wonderful aromas plus the natural therapeutic properties, but in some instance the synthetics can smell better. We only sell natural, pure, therapeutic Essential Oils that are never cut/diluted, nor have any synthetic fragrance added to them.
Another return story: Customer placed a very, very large order with us – ordering the largest sizes offered of several Essential Oils. We assumed he had a home business or owned a Spa or something. It turned out he was brand new to Aromatherapy, had read a short article about the great benefits of Aromatherapy, and blindly ordered a whole bunch of Oils in the largest sizes, and then had no idea which oils to use or how to use them, and upon figuring out some of the basics realized he had purchased a supply that would last him several years, and some Oils he had no personal use for. Since the oils had been opened, we could not accept them back.
It is because once an oil has left our possession and opened by the customer we can no longer testify to its purity and safety, and the returned oil must be discarded. We wouldn’t truly throw them in the garbage, we would have to ‘gift them away’ to friends or family, or our staff, but we absolutely cannot ‘restock’ any returned oils for resale, no exceptions are made.
So, in summary, if you are new to Aromatherapy, have never worked with pure Essential Oils, maybe experienced but trying a new oil for the first time, or for any other reason that you may have some uncertainty about a particular oil, we recommend that you purchase only the smallest size offered for sampling, since that is the only size that we can issue a full refund for.
Our Official Return Policy: if you are not completely satisfied with any of our Essential Oils, you may return them for a full refund. Returns must be received by our company within 14 days of delivery to customer. The returned bottles must be full or near full to prevent exploitation of this policy (returning and empty bottle and keeping the contents). Refunds are issued for the price of the smallest size offered for that particular oil only, OR, IF THE TAMPER PROOF TOPS AND/OR SHRINK BANDS we can approve and take back larger sizes. We cannot make any exceptions.
Return requests have been extremely rare, so we doubt this information will ever be necessary.
Other Product Guarantees:
Electric diffusers: if you are not satisfied with our quality diffusers you may return them for a refund within 14 days of receipt.
Candle diffusers: Never pour cold water into the hot bowl as it can crack/break. Surprisingly, this often happens to those who skipped elementary science class. Please do not pour cold water into your piping hot bowl when the bowl dries up, the dish will break and this is not covered under warranty.
Carrier Oils: the same policy as listed above for our Essential Oils.
All other products: we can’t think of any reasons one would want to return any of these other products, but if you do, send us an email and we’ll work with you on a case-by-case basis.
What if my order does not arrive in time? Delays sometimes happen, it could be that a particular oil was out of stock, or a shipment was misrouted/delayed while shipping with Priority Mail, etc.,..... So, to make you more comfortable we give all of our customers the right to return their sealed/unopened package to us for a 100% refund. Example: you place the order, but it arrives later than our advertised processing and shipping time, and you no longer want or need the order, we will accept it back for a full 100% refund. The only condition is that the package is still sealed (unopened so we can be assured it has not been tampered with).
